New Feature Release Privacy Settings 

You asked, and we listened! FRONTSTEPS is constantly working to improve the functionality of all products within our suite. Today, we’re sharing an advancement within our privacy settings in our mobile application. 

Privacy settings are becoming more critical to users across the IT space. According to DataProt, as many as 79% of Americans on the web worry about their online privacy. Users want to make sure their information is staying private, and companies need to add this usability and convenience for customers. 

FRONTSTEPS knows this privacy is important to homeowners and why we’re excited to announce users can adjust their privacy settings on their mobile devices. If the manager has enabled the community’s directory, owners get to choose whether to show or hide information to neighbors. This setting has always been available via the web but is now available within our mobile app.

User will enter their profile, select “Privacy Settings,” and toggle on or off “Information Shown on Directory.” This feature puts power into the hands of the homeowner and allows them to select if their personal information is displayed to other members of the community.
