Women’s History Month 2021

Too often, the women were unsung, and sometimes their contributions went unnoticed. But the achievements, leadership, courage, strength, and love of the women who built America was as vital as that of the men whose names we know so well.-Jimmy Carter

In 1980 President Jimmy Carter declared March 2nd-8th National Women’s History Week’, and since then, the U.S. has declared the entire month of March to Women’s History.

Each year the National Women’s History Alliance selects a theme to be communicated and embodied throughout the month. This year is the theme encompassed the spirit of challenging times and was titled; Valiant Women of the Vote: Refusing to Be Silenced.
