A few weeks ago, we had the honor of attending NAA’s Apartmentalize Conference in our hometown of Denver. This was our first time attending a multi-family event and it was a huge success! Here are some of our favorite moments from the show.
This industry knows how to have fun
This wasn’t your average conference. From vendors with margaritas to a Brad Paisley concert, there was nonstop fun to be had. We loved contributing to the fun by hosting a get-together at a local axe throwing venue. If you haven’t had a chance to toss an axe in your life, we highly recommend adding it to your bucket list.
Communities need simplified visitor management
If there’s one commonality shared among all multi-family communities, it’s that there are a ton of visitors and vendors coming in and out of the community on a daily basis. These communities are in need of a simplified way to get these individuals in and out with ease, while making sure they’re taking the necessary steps to keep tenants and their belongings safe. People loved the idea of having tenants create and distribute guest passes on their own, and more so having guests scan these passes on their smartphone to gain access to the building.
Smart technology is just getting started
We’ve been blogging about smart home technology for a while now, but it was fun geeking out with other industry professionals about the latest technology and how we can potentially integrate with it in the future. From keyless entry to individual smart home devices, we’re keeping this technology top of mind in for future product development.
Great takeaways on how we can better serve this industry
We came back from this conference energized and excited, as we believe there’s a lot we can do to better serve the unique needs of this industry. We received a ton of great feedback from industry leaders, vendors, and potential customers that was brought back with our team for future brainstorm sessions. Stayed tuned multi-family industry, as there will be some exciting developments from us in the near future!
